The Farrowing Herdsperson is responsible for assisting with the daily aspects of swine farrowing, including individual sow and piglet health and vaccinations and record keeping.
The Gestation Herdsperson is responsible for the daily aspects of swine breeding, including daily AI breeding, semen storage and inventory, herd health and vaccinations, nutrition, isolation barn and record keeping.

PHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to have ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to move throughout the farm; and the ability to stand, walk, squat, kneel, crouch, climb 4-foot gates, and frequently (lift, carry, move) objects 3 to 20 pounds.
